It was my goal to go to this lake for this trip. I've always thinking of an isolated area, just with vans for mad scientists who were waiting for the Nessy. Despite of that, bunch of tourists and bus etc etc ... I can't find a proper place to shot. The access is not simple, and for the most common ones, there's was too much people, even in April. Finally while driving near the shoreline, I saw several meter under the road this old pier. My monster was found! After trying to go back to found it, I went through the forest near the shore. There was many carcass, but from cars. Very strange area, no one here and all the haunting legends about it. I can't access without putting my shoes in the lake, too dangerous with all this metal for my feet. I finally place the tripod in the lake, me also, and try to deal with the low light around. I took 3, this one was my selection.
I've asked many people what was its history but I can't find anything at this time.

What a wonderful gallery. There is an uncluttered truth that is seen in living Black and White. The magic is that while I cannot exactly put my finger on that truth.... I know that it's there, which keeps me looking.

wow....
Joie :)

It reminds me of The Rhyme Of The Ancient Mariner, even if this is not the sea of that poem, because the water seems to be so still...
